Fiduciary, management & cross-border financial services · Mauritius
Your buyers are not in Mauritius. We put your directors in front of them.
We run LinkedIn outreach and content from your directors' own profiles, aimed at the offshore buyers and introducers who choose a jurisdiction and a firm. The aim: 3 to 5 conversations a month with senior decision makers.
The short answer
AscendAI runs LinkedIn for fiduciary, management, fund administration and cross-border financial services firms in Mauritius. We build the list of offshore buyers and introducers worth talking to, watch for the moments they are likely to structure, and send considered messages from your directors' own profiles, with every message checked by a human.
We handle the replies until a meeting is in the diary. The aim is 3 to 5 senior conversations a month. We are based in Mauritius ourselves.
Who is this for?
- Management companies, trust and corporate services providers and fund administrators in Mauritius
- Cross-border financial services firms headquartered in Mauritius, such as insurers and advisers selling into Africa
- Firms of roughly 11 to 1,000 people, selling high-value, long-term relationships
- A director willing to be visible on LinkedIn, and someone free to take the calls
It is not for consumer or retail offers, or firms with no one available to run sales calls in the next 30 to 60 days.
Why is LinkedIn the main channel for Mauritius firms?
Because the buyer is offshore. A fund manager in Nairobi, a family office in Johannesburg, a group in Europe or the Gulf planning its move into Africa. In most markets LinkedIn competes with a local network you could work in person. Here there is no local market to fall back on.
LinkedIn is the one channel that puts you in front of all of them in the same week, without a flight or a conference stand. We set this out in more detail in LinkedIn lead generation for professional services firms in Mauritius.
Why do you have to sell the jurisdiction first?
Your buyer is usually choosing Mauritius against Dubai, Luxembourg or Singapore before choosing a firm. If your content only says what your firm does, it skips the decision that comes first. Content that helps a buyer weigh up the jurisdiction earns the conversation about the firm.
How does it work?
- We build two listsThe offshore buyers who fit your ideal client, and the lawyers, accountants, tax advisers and wealth managers who introduce them.
- We watch for buying momentsA fund manager launching a new vehicle, a group expanding into Africa, a family reorganising its holdings. The firm that reaches out inside that window gets the meeting.
- Your directors send considered messagesFrom their own profiles, written with them in their voice. Every message is checked by a human before it sends. Content on the jurisdiction builds the trust behind it.
- We handle the repliesWe follow up until there is a date in the diary, and the portal shows you where every conversation stands.
What results have firms like yours seen?
A Mauritius-headquartered insurance and risk business reached 800 executives in four African markets in one month: 58.9% reply rate, 63 positive replies, 20% added to pipeline.
Read the case study →An independent trust and fiduciary business built partner relationships across ten European jurisdictions: 52% reply rate.
Read the case study →Is LinkedIn outreach allowed under the Data Protection Act 2017?
Yes, when it is done properly. The Act is closely aligned with the European GDPR. It gives people the right to object to direct marketing, and the Data Protection Office oversees it. What it is aimed at is bulk, unsolicited, automated marketing. Targeted messages written by a person, sent to people for whom your service is relevant, honest about who you are and easy to decline, sit on the right side of that line.
Your buyers may also sit under other regimes, such as the GDPR or South Africa's POPIA. This is general guidance, not legal advice. If compliance is a live concern, run the approach past your own adviser.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
It depends on how many directors send, which markets you target and whether you want content as well as outreach. We set out the price on a short call, once we understand your buyers and your introducers.
How quickly will we see conversations?
The first weeks go on building the list, agreeing the messaging and getting your directors' profiles ready. After that the aim is 3 to 5 senior conversations a month. For African Risk Transfer, a Mauritius-headquartered insurance and risk business, a campaign to 800 executives produced 63 positive replies in a single month.
Whose name is on the messages?
Yours. Messages go out from your own directors' LinkedIn profiles, written with them, and every message is checked by a human before it sends. Offshore buyers want to deal with the person who will look after their structure, not an agency account.
Can you reach introducers as well as clients?
Yes. Much of a Mauritius firm's work arrives through lawyers, accountants, tax advisers and wealth managers abroad. We run separate outreach to those introducers. TrustQore, an independent trust and fiduciary business, used this approach to build partner relationships across ten European jurisdictions.
Where is AscendAI based?
AscendAI is based in Mauritius. We know the jurisdiction and the questions offshore buyers ask about it, and we work with firms across Africa, the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
